This airsoft gun is a replica of the H&K MPK variant of the MP5 submachine gun family. The “K” stands for Kurz (German for “short”). It is a legendary ultra-compact submachine gun desighed for close-quarters battle, VIP protection and covert carry.
Roughly the size of a large handgun, it is typically configured with a vertical foregrip and a simpler receiver endcap in place of a buttstock to minimize overall size. It is designed to be concealable or even fired from inside a specially designed H&K MP5K Operational Briefcase (or Schieβkoffer), a rare Cold War era relic manufactured in Germany by Hofbauer GmbH.
The briefcase was fabricated in solid polymer and aluminum disguised to resemble a normal business case. Almost as soon as it was introduced, H&K distributors had a string of fast sales to dignitary protections groups and special operations forces around the World.
